Based on yesterday’s taxi ride, even the Filipinos here in Singapore are practicing their racing skills. The taxi that picked me up was a brand-new Volkswagen, very high-tech and sleek. We set a land speed record for the ten kilometers from my hotel to the International Business Park. The cabbie wasn’t talkative, but I did [...] The cars here in Singapore come in all styles, including some expensive ones you don’t see just anywhere: Maserati, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Jaguar and so on. The ones I find the most amazing are the small ones. There’s this one little car that’s quite popular. A pair of them would make a great kid’s gift; roller skates.
