Monday Pepper Picker-Upper
Since it’s a Blue Monday, all we need are red and white peppers to complete the Trifecta. (Don’t get me started on Big Frown, and how he’s probably gonna cause me to be homeless. Anybody want some used Belmont bet stubs?)
To celebrate, I’m putting a couple new recipes up on the Recipes du Jour page. Inexpensive recipes. Also tasty, but the most important thing at this moment is CHEAP! Ham Chile Verde can be made using leftover ham, so that’s not gonna cost a lot. And the Chicken and Chiles Casserole can be made with leftover chicken. That’s gotta be economical, maybe even parsimonious. (I bet it’d work with turkey, or even possum. May have to check that out this week.)
Just leave the persimmons out of it and you’ll be fine…
