So You Think You Know Your Kitchen Utensils…
If your kitchen is like mine, you’ve got several drawers and cabinets of kitchen gadgets. And a few cylinders near your range with your favorite weapons inside, held at the ready. Implements of destruction or salvation. Stirring, mashing, whisking, flipping. Cutting and decorating. The works.
There are few things more satisfying as a man than wielding a solid truncheon or well-shaped halberd, all while feeding your family. Having just the right tool makes cooking the good fight all that much more satisfying.
The Question is: Do you really, really know your kitchen devices? Well, there’s only one way to find out, grasshopper: Take the Test.
I did. Each of the twenty questions has four possible answers. Multiple guess, always so easy. All the answers appear reasonable, at first. Then you begin to think about it. And then you begin to sweat.
I got off to a roaring good start, two for two. Then it went quickly downhill from there, and I bottomed out at three correct in the first ten. After mental toils to rival the labors of Hercules, I managed to pull even with only two questions to go. After getting the penultimate question right, I relaxed and broke even overall.
And don’t even think about using Google Search; it won’t work. Trust me; I asked…
