Burger King Employees Come Clean
As if you needed Yet Another Reason not to eat fast food, this in to the Chile Underground Nothing-Gets-Past-Us Newsroom:
A video of a Burger King employee celebrating his birthday has appeared on the web. This probably isn’t newsworthy in itself, given that some of them are bound to stay employees long enough to actually celebrate a birthday at work. However, this celebration has a few differences from the usual “Here’s the cupcake, where’s my gifts” storyline.
You see, this employee is taking a bath. In the Burger King restaurant. In the sink.
Yes, our eagle-eyed newsies just couldn’t let that one slip by. We figure it’s our duty to help Burger King come clean on this issue. We figure, if we don’t say something now, then Yet Another Evil Corporate Giant will scrub an important story from the Internet. But we know you want news that cleans house; and we’re not trying to soft-soap you here. (Really. We’re not.)
Ahem. Continuing with what it says here on the script, we see that the employee has been terminated. With his cohorts in crime. Yeah; like that’s a surprise. If only he had come clean with management first; but I doubt they would have all fit in the sink together.
So now you gotta ask yourself: Is that mayo on your Whopper, or is it maybe a bit more frothy than you expected…
