I've said a lot about bacon on this site, and a little bit about beer too. In the past few days I've found some important information on both! Time to share…
Bacon is making its way into all sorts of foods. For instance, it's now an acceptable top crust on apple pie. (But you already knew that.) And there's this woman who fixes dishes for an annual bacon party. There's clearly an idea that makes you want to slap your forehead with a quart of V-8 and say, " Why didn't I think of that ?" (Her blog may have the best name on the Web: Cooking With Tits.)

While we're on the subject of advertising, beer ads have also taken a turn towards the more creative, at least in other parts of the world:
Man, that makes we want to take up a musical instrument just so I could be part of that orchestra! (I play the accordion; nobody's ever confused that with a musical instrument.) There's a nice video on the making of that advert posted here.
