Borrowed from “We Are Never Full” to Promote Their Site
Traveling is such a wonderful opportunity to eat well, and to taste and learn about world cuisines (and cultures). Finding a couple who enjoy doing just that is always a pleasure. If they can photo-document and write too, then we’re all in for a treat.
Which brings me to the December Food BOM: We Are Never Full.
I started my search some weeks ago, looking for a Holidays-themed website to award the prize to. Then this one caught my eye. Literally! Lots of fine photos pulled me in. Then I started to read, and I was well and truly hooked.
Amy and Jonny are an adventurous couple of Brooklynites who love to travel, eat, cook and take pictures. Not your usual travels, and certainly not the same ol’ “snapshots” you see elsewhere. Food, restaurants, menus, buildings; all carefully captured and edited.
The post writing is entertaining as well, building wonderful images that almost make it possible to taste, smell and see what they’re experiencing. They may be (almost) food-obsessed, as they say on their blog, but they don’t let that keep them from thoughtfully writing about their travels. I heartily recommend We Are Never Full to you!
Their site is chock-a-block full of visual goodies, making me wish I could go with them when they head out to explore the world. Maybe they need a porter? Or I could simply stow away in their luggage…
