Never Say Die(t): Pasta and Peppers to Help You Lose Weight

Most folks complain about the stress and chaos of the Holiday Season. Still more, however, express real fear about the aftermath of the feasting and snacking.

And then there’s that four-letter word that strikes real fear in the hearts of men and women across America: DIET.

So don’t say it. Don’t even think it! Eat smart instead.

Eat foods with lots of nutrition and volume, but not dense calories that add weight and fat to your frame. Avoid high-calorie sauces! For instance, cauliflower is great for you, and has a high volume-to-calorie ratio. That’s good, because it will make you feel fuller without excess calories.

Just don’t go with the cheese sauce on that veggie!

Here’s a tasty idea for an entée:

Filling? For sure. Tasty? Certainly! And if you cook for 2-3 like I do, then you’ll have leftovers for lunches or another dinner later in the week. This dish keeps well for a couple of days in the fridge, if you remember to hide it near the back so nobody knows that there is any left…
